Bar Vittorio Emanuele

History

Bar Vittorio Emanuele is an integral part of the history of Piazza Maggiore, the ancient heart of Bologna. Since 1882 it has been a meeting place for illustrious citizens: artists, politicians, sportsmen and bohemians, or rather, as they are defined in Bologna, biassanot. The bar takes its name from the statue of King Vittorio Emanuele, once located in the center of Piazza Maggiore. Its ultra-centennial history today is renewed through a new identity that celebrates the past and embraces the future thanks to constant attention to quality, guaranteeing a unique experience for the customer. We thank the ``Art and History Collections of the Carisbo Foundation`` for the kind concession of the photographs.
